Job Description
As a Cloud Network Engineer supporting our government client project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise network infrastructure, cloud connectivity, and ITIL-compliant service management. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and managing Cisco or Juniper networking platforms, implementing TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation, deploying and administering SD-WAN and cloud networking solutions across AWS and Azure, operating wireless technologies and network monitoring tools, adhering strictly to ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management, troubleshooting complex routing and connectivity anomalies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional government IT teams.
You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex network bottlenecks under strict service level agreements.
Ensuring strict compliance with the Arabic-speaking requirement and Riyadh on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise networking platforms utilizing Cisco and Juniper hardware and software.
- Implement and optimize core networking constructs including TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and advanced network segmentation.
- Administer and scale cloud networking architectures and SD-WAN solutions across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Operate, configure, and monitor wireless technologies and enterprise network monitoring and observability suites.
- Adhere strictly to ITIL operational frameworks for incident management, change management, and service request fulfillment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve high-severity network routing, switching, and cloud connectivity failures.
- Coordinate seamlessly with government project stakeholders, system administrators, and external vendor partners.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of network topologies, firewall rules, change logs, and configuration backups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise network engineering and infrastructure administration.
- Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.
- Deep practical proficiency in TCP/IP routing, VLAN configuration, QoS implementation, and network segmentation.
- Solid practical understanding and hands-on experience with SD-WAN deployments and cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure).
- Comprehensive working knowledge of ITIL processes for incident management, problem management, and change control.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under mission-critical conditions.
- Mandatory bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (Written and Verbal) for seamless stakeholder communication.
- Mandatory legal work eligibility, valid transferable IQAMA, and physical availability for on-site operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP), or AWS/Azure Cloud Networking certifications.
- Prior professional working experience in government, defense, large-scale public sector, or banking enterprise environments.
