As a Senior Network & Security SME supporting Edarat Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full operational, architectural, and tactical ownership of enterprise network design, firewall administration, intrusion prevention systems, and security hardening. Your day-to-day responsibilities include deploying and managing Forti Gate and Palo Alto firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Email Security Gateways, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, optimizing network performance, and enforcing rigorous cybersecurity best practices.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT operations, cloud architecture, and security compliance squads in Agile sprint cycles while ensuring seamless network reliability.

• Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain robust enterprise network routing, switching, and security infrastructures.
• Design and optimize complex network topologies, ensuring high availability, low latency, and continuous performance monitoring.
• Administer advanced security appliances including Forti Gate and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure VPNs.
• Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Email Security Gateways, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls.
• Enforce corporate cybersecurity best practices, threat mitigation protocols, and industry security frameworks.
• Conduct rigorous security audits, vulnerability assessments, and root-cause analysis for network anomalies.
• Integrate on-premises network architectures with scalable cloud infrastructure management platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of network diagrams, security policies, and incident runbooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer and Communication Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive professional experience in cloud infrastructure management and enterprise networking.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN tunnels, and network security architectures.
• Deep practical experience administering Forti Gate, Palo Alto, WAF, Email Security Gateways, and DLP solutions.
• Solid practical grasp of cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and recognized industry security frameworks.
• Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure management and hybrid network connectivity.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, technical leadership, and stakeholder communication capabilities.

• Relevant advanced technical certifications in networking and security (such as CCNP, CISSP, PCNSE, or NSE 7/8).
• Prior professional working experience in top-tier technology consulting firms, managed service providers, or data center operators.
• Hands-on familiarity with network automation scripting utilizing Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.
• Experience utilizing cloud networking services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to agile IT service management frameworks and enterprise ticketing platforms (Service Now, Jira).
