Job Description
As an Oracle Apps DBA supporting Mastek in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Oracle E-Business Suite installation, database administration, patching, cloning, and performance tuning. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing Oracle R12 application servers and database instances, executing ADadmin tasks, applying maintenance patchsets, and configuring high-availability backup and recovery strategies using RMAN. You will participate actively in end-to-end (ETE) Oracle implementation and support projects while collaborating closely with technical architects, developers, and client stakeholder squads.

- Install, configure, patch, clone, and administer Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) environments and underlying databases.
- Perform database tuning, concurrent manager administration, memory allocation optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Execute comprehensive backup and disaster recovery operations utilizing Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
- Participate actively in end-to-end (ETE) Oracle implementation, database migration, and post-production support projects.
- Apply Oracle CPU/RUP patches, technology stack updates, and maintain rigorous system security baselines.
- Monitor database performance metrics, disk storage utilization, and network latency using Enterprise Manager.
- Collaborate seamlessly with functional consultants and software developers to support patch testing and code deployments.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of database topologies, backup schedules, and recovery runbooks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2+ years of progressive professional experience as an Oracle Apps DBA (Junior to Mid-Level).
- Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) administration and database management.
- Practical hands-on experience participating in at least one (1) End-to-End (ETE) Oracle Implementation or Support project.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Oracle database architecture, RMAN backup/recovery, cloning, and patching.
- Solid practical experience in concurrent manager tuning, troubleshooting concurrent requests, and database performance profiling.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
- Mandatory Saudi National citizenship (exclusive to Saudi Nationals as per client requirements) and immediate availability preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect.
