As a Network Engineer (Cisco Wireless) supporting government project initiatives through Go Ahead Consulting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full operational, architectural, and tactical ownership of wireless network design, routing protocols, load balancing, QoS implementation, and SD-WAN optimization. Your day-to-day responsibilities include deploying Cisco wireless controllers and access points, configuring enterprise routers and switches, managing traffic load balancers, tuning QoS policies for mission-critical applications, and ensuring strict compliance with government security baselines.

• Architect, configure, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise Cisco wireless networks, controllers, and access points across government facilities.
• Design and manage complex enterprise routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across multi-site environments.
• Configure and optimize enterprise load balancers to ensure high availability and efficient traffic distribution for critical applications.
• Implement and fine‑tune Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize voice, video, and mission-critical data streams.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) architectures for enhanced multi-branch connectivity.
• Perform rigorous network performance tuning, latency reduction, throughput optimization, and fault isolation.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and government project management squads.
• Maintain comprehensive network topology diagrams, routing configurations, firewall rulebases, and incident runbooks.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise network engineering and infrastructure deployment.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on professional expertise in Cisco Wireless networking, WLCs, and enterprise Wi-Fi deployments.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in enterprise routing and switching, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN architectures.
• Deep practical experience configuring and managing load balancers, traffic management, and Quality of Service (QoS) frameworks.
• Solid practical grasp of SD-WAN design, implementation, and multi-site network integration.
• Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional stakeholder communication capabilities.
• Mandatory possession of a Transferable IQAMA and physical availability for professional operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
