Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for defining and executing the enterprise technology roadmap, architecture standards, and IT governance. The role involves advising executive leadership on digital transformation, emerging technologies such as AI/ML, and strategic investments to drive the organization’s technological vision.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and execute the enterprise tech roadmap, architecture standards, and IT governance; advise executive leadership on digital transformation, emerging tech (AI/ML), and strategic investments.
- Lead software development, microservices, and system integration; institute agile engineering practices, CI/CD, Dev Ops, and high quality-assurance standards.
- Oversee cloud strategy (AWS/Azure/GCP), capacity planning, disaster recovery, and system resilience to ensure maximum uptime and seamless scalability.
- Enforce robust security frameworks, data privacy, identity management, and risk mitigations across all platforms.
- Establish performance KPIs, manage vendor and partner relationships, and optimize infrastructure and licensing budgets.
- Recruit, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering and Dev Ops teams; partner closely with the Chief Product Officer and business leaders to translate product vision into deliverable software.
Required:
- 15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture, with proven executive experience (CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent).
- Track record of scaling digital platforms within EdTech (LMS/e-learning), Fin Tech (payments/banking platforms), or IT Services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- AWS / Azure / GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification.
- CISSP or TOGAF Certification.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture

- Security best practices
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage).
