As a Senior Network & Security SME supporting Edarat Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full operational, architectural, and tactical ownership of enterprise network design, security framework implementation, performance monitoring, and perimeter defense hardening. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and tuning firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), web application firewalls (WAF), email security gateways, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.

You will operate in a collaborative enterprise environment while collaborating closely with C-level stakeholders, cloud engineers, and security operations squads.

• Architect, design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructures, WAN/LAN topologies, and cloud environments.
• Manage and monitor network performance, latency metrics, bandwidth utilization, and high-availability routing protocols.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain perimeter security defenses including next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure VPN tunnels.
• Implement and oversee advanced security controls including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Email Security Gateways, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Enforce rigorous cybersecurity best practices, encryption standards, vulnerability management protocols, and industry security frameworks.
• Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analyses (RCA), and remediate network vulnerabilities promptly.
• Collaborate closely with cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops teams to ensure seamless cloud security posture management.
• Maintain comprehensive network topology diagrams, security documentation, firewall rule bases, and operational runbooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer and Communication Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive professional experience in cloud infrastructure management, network administration, and cybersecurity.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network security architectures.
• Deep practical experience administering advanced security solutions including Forti Gate, Palo Alto, WAF, Email Security Gateway, and DLP.
• Solid practical grasp of cybersecurity best practices, threat analysis methodologies, and compliance security frameworks.
