Purpose
A Dev Ops Engineer bridges the gap between development and operations teams by automating and streamlining the software development and deployment processes They focus on continuous integration continuous delivery CI CD and infrastructure as code to enhance collaboration efficiency and reliability in software delivery
Key Responsibilities- Dev Ops Engineering
- Manage CI CD pipelines and automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability
- Support and troubleshoot Java-based applications across development test and production environments
- Administer Linux Unix systems and perform SQL-based analysis and troubleshooting
- Manage and support integration technologies including IBM MQ JMS XML REST SOAP HTTPS SFTP and LDAP
- Deploy monitor and troubleshoot platforms such as Web Sphere Tomcat HTTP Servers and Service Mix
- Perform incident management log analysis root-cause analysis and post-deployment validation
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure stable secure and scalable solutions
- Continuously improve Dev Ops practices automation monitoring and operational processes
- At least 8 years of experience in Dev Ops application deployment middleware administration or application support with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations and production environments
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise Java applications middleware platforms and system integrations in mission-critical environments
