A banking-sector organization is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer for an on-site Resident Engineer position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will support security operations, threat detection, incident investigation, and response. Applicants should have at least 7 years of relevant cybersecurity experience and practical knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR solutions, and threat-hunting techniques.

• Support cybersecurity operations and security monitoring.
• Perform threat detection and investigation.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities.
• Work with SIEM platforms to monitor and investigate security events.
• Apply threat-hunting techniques and knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Support security operations involving EDR/XDR technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, SIEM, or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with one or more SIEM platforms:
  • Splunk
  • IBM QRadar
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • Similar SIEM platforms
• Understanding of EDR/XDR technologies.
• Knowledge of threat hunting and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cortex XSIAM or Cortex XDR is highly preferred.
• Banking-sector experience.
• Knowledge of SOAR.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
