An opportunity is available for a Cybersecurity Architect in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the banking and financial services industry.

The employer is looking for a professional with 3–5 years of experience and strong expertise in security architecture, solution design, threat modelling, risk assessment and Security-by-Design principles.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of cloud, network, application, API, database and infrastructure security, along with familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking sector.

• Support security architecture and solution design activities.
• Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Apply Security-by-Design and Defense-in-Depth principles.
• Review cloud, network and application security architectures.
• Support IAM, PAM and Zero Trust security approaches.
• Assess API, database and infrastructure security.
• Participate in architecture and solution design reviews.
• Consider relevant banking cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture and solution design.
• Experience with threat modelling and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of:

  • Zero Trust
  • API Security
  • Database Security
  • Infrastructure Security
• Understanding of Security-by-Design and Defense-in-Depth.
• Familiarity with the following frameworks and standards:
  • SAMA CSF

  • PCI DSS
  • SWIFT CSCF
• Knowledge of cloud, AI, APIs, containers and microservices.
• Experience or understanding of cybersecurity in banking and financial services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Saudi banking or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity regulations in Saudi Arabia.
