Motor Reinsurance Sr. Specialist

To support the effective management of Motor Reinsurance and new product activities by administering reinsurance arrangements monitoring treaty utilization coordinating facultative placements and ensuring adequate risk protection for the motor portfolio while maintaining compliance with underwriting guidelines reinsurance agreements and regulatory requirements.

• Review motor and other insurance risks against approved corporate retention limits and specific reinsurance treaty conditions to ensure strict compliance and prevent unauthorized exposure
• Coordinate and negotiate facultative reinsurance placements for high-value or non-standard risks that exceed approved underwriting authorities or existing treaty capacities
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reinsurance workflows enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal operational controls
• Assure the accuracy of complex reinsurance accounting premium statements and the prompt collection of outstanding claims recovery balances
• Collaborate with the product development team to design price and structure optimal reinsurance protection plans for newly launched insurance products
• Monitor the performance of specialized portfolios such as Electric Vehicles EV Autonomous Vehicles AV or niche embedded products and adjust reinsurance structures as market dynamics shift
• Partner closely with the Claims Department to identify document and aggressively pursue large loss recoveries through valid reinsurance contracts
• Lead or support the preparation of underwriting data loss histories and market submissions required for the structured renewal of the company s annual reinsurance treaties
• Manage relationships with reinsurance brokers and international reinsurers ensuring all participating partners meet the company s strict financial security and credit rating standards
• Ensure all reinsurance placements and counter party transactions comply with local insurance regulations and international accounting standards

Academic Qualifications and

Experience:

Bachelor s degree in insurance, Business Administration, or a related field. 4- 5 years of related experience.
