Responsibilities
- Translate written documents ensuring that the original meaning tone and context are preserved while adapting to the target audience s cultural nuances.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-specific terminology to provide accurate translations in fields such as legal medical or technical.
- Edit and proofread translated materials to ensure clarity consistency and grammatical accuracy before submission.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences ensuring that the final product meets their expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, with a focus on languages relevant to the job.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience in specialized industries, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work.
- Certification from a recognized translation organization, such as the American Translators Association (ATA) or similar, is highly preferred.
- Native fluency in at least one target language, with a strong command of the source language and cultural understanding.
