The Supply Chain Planning Manager develops and executes end‑to‑end supply plans to ensure optimal product availability, inventory health, and customer service levels. The role leads cross‑functional planning activities across supply planning, production planning, and inventory management while balancing cost, capacity, and service objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead the end‑to‑end supply planning process across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Ensure alignment between demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies.
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels and minimizing costs.
- Oversee supply planning for three manufacturing plants.
- Support and lead the weekly and monthly S&OP/integrated business planning reviews.
- Present global capacity outlook, key risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Drive decision‑making through data‑driven insights and scenario analysis.
- Maintain high‑quality planning master data, including parameters and system settings.
- Continuously improve system configuration to ensure reliable planning outputs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance planning processes, tools, and data accuracy.
- Proactively identify supply risks and constraints (capacity, materials, production).
- Communicate risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions clearly and timely.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of supply planners.
- Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, and continuous‑improvement culture.
- Define clear objectives and monitor team performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply planning, production planning, or S&OP processes in a healthcare/medical background.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience working with planning systems.
- Critical thinking with strong operational execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complexity and drive cross‑functional alignment.
- Data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement approach.
