Raw Materials Procurement supervisor

Raw Materials Procurement Supervisor leads the end-to-end sourcing and procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role focuses on identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements, creating and managing purchase orders, and ensuring on-time delivery. It includes conducting price analysis and benchmarking to optimize cost while maintaining quality, reliability, and compliance with procurement policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations.

The supervisor coordinates closely with Logistics to ensure efficient delivery and works cross-functionally with Business Development, R&D, Planning, Quality, and Finance to support smooth execution of procurement activities and ensure all sourced materials meet regulatory and quality standards.

• Lead the sourcing process for raw materials, including identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts.
• Create purchase orders, follow PO release cycle, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform thorough price analysis.
• Ensure relevant purchases comply with company procurement policy and industry regulation.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery of purchased items.
• Implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining the quality and reliability of procured goods.
• Benchmark raw material prices for cost optimization.
• Negotiate and establish commercial agreements with suppliers, emphasizing product quality and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Ensure that all sourced products meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Business Development, R&D, Planning, Quality, and Finance, to ensure the efficient and effective execution of operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy / Chemistry or any relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical raw material sourcing is required.
