We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across a diversified business environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring the timely, cost-effective procurement of goods, services, and subcontractors to support multiple business operations and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and purchase order management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate commercial terms to achieve the best value while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely execution.
- Evaluate technical and commercial proposals in line with company policies and project specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
- Support project bids and tenders by obtaining competitive quotations and sourcing qualified suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
. - Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
- Facilities Management
- Construction
- Infrastructure
- Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
- Manpower & Outsourcing
- Government or Semi-Government Projects
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are considered an advantage.
