Senior Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a high-caliber Procurement Engineer with a Civil or Architectural Engineering background and proven experience in luxury hotel construction with a major main contractor.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, SAP expertise, negotiation skills, and resilience
, with the ability to manage procurement in a demanding, fast-track project environment.

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, architectural finishes, MEP-related items, specialist packages, and services
  .
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements to ensure procurement meets project requirements.
• Source, technically evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and evaluate technical/commercial comparisons and support supplier selection.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Proactively manage long-lead and critical materials to protect project milestones.
• Utilize SAP/ERP for PRs, RFQs, POs, procurement tracking, and reporting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining required quality and specifications.
• Resolve supplier and procurement issues quickly and effectively.

• 5–8+ years of procurement experience with a major main contractor
  .
• Proven experience in luxury hotels, 5-star hospitality, high-end residential, or similarly high-specification projects
  .
• Strong understanding of architectural finishes, construction materials, specialist works, and project requirements
  .
• Strong hands-on SAP experience is essential.
• Excellent technical, commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple critical procurement packages.
• Strong English communication skills;
  Arabic is an advantage.
