The Manager
- Supply Chain Operations is responsible for connecting commercial demand with reliable, cost-effective product movement across distribution centers, transport networks, stores, and import channels. The role combines strategic planning with operational leadership. It requires strong oversight of warehousing, replenishment, transportation, stock management, customs compliance, and logistics projects while ensuring that supply chain performance supports sales growth and customer availability. By improving processes, strengthening supplier and logistics partner relationships, and leading transformation initiatives, the manager will directly influence service levels, inventory productivity, cost efficiency, and the scalability of Majid Al Futtaim 's retail network in Saudi Arabia.

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, store expansion, and operational objectives.
• Lead end-to-end logistics operations covering warehousing, transportation, replenishment, import-export, and distribution center activities.
• Drive supply chain improvement projects designed to increase productivity, service levels, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor stock availability across distribution centers and stores and implement corrective actions where shortages or excess inventory occur.
• Strengthen replenishment processes to maintain appropriate inventory levels and improve product availability.
• Oversee transportation performance, route efficiency, delivery schedules, logistics costs, and service provider performance.
• Manage warehousing initiatives involving space utilization, productivity, inventory accuracy, receiving, dispatch, and operational controls.
• Coordinate import-export activities and ensure compliance with customs requirements and applicable regulations.
• Stay informed about regulatory developments that could affect customs clearance, sourcing, transportation, or product movement.
• Lead large-scale supply chain projects, including process redesign, digital logistics initiatives, automation, and business transformation programs.
• Track operational and project performance through supply chain KPIs and management reporting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality, product availability, and operational resilience.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, freight partners, and other external service providers.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Technology, and other internal teams to improve end-to-end supply chain execution.
• Ensure supply chain operations comply with company policies, audit requirements, safety standards, and governance controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation plans for operational disruptions, supply constraints, and logistics challenges.
• Lead, coach, and develop supply chain teams while strengthening performance management and succession planning.
• Promote continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across logistics and distribution operations.

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor 's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or closely related operations is required, including a minimum of 5 years within retail logistics, supermarkets, hypermarkets, major retailers, or established logistics service providers.
