A company in the contracting sector is seeking a Procurement Officer – Raw Materials & Spare Parts to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is targeted toward national talent with practical procurement experience, particularly in the sourcing of building materials, raw materials, and spare parts for contracting and project operations.

The successful candidate will manage procurement activities from supplier identification and quotation evaluation through negotiation, purchase-order processing, delivery follow-up, and supplier performance monitoring. The position requires close coordination with Projects, Warehouses, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure materials and spare parts are available according to operational requirements.

• Implement and follow up on procurement of raw materials, building materials, and spare parts according to project and operational requirements.
• Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers for required materials and products.
• Request, review, and compare supplier quotations based on price, specifications, supply terms, and payment conditions.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive commercial terms while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
• Create and follow up on Purchase Requisition s (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) through ERP or SAP systems.
• Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with required delivery dates, quantities, and specifications.
• Coordinate procurement and receiving requirements with Projects, Warehouses, Finance, and Engineering departments.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated supplier database.
• Maintain current records of supplier pricing and procurement information.
• Support procurement cost optimization initiatives.
• Help ensure continuous availability of required materials and spare parts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering

• 3–5 years of practical procurement experience

• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP or SAP systems
