Product and Procurement Manager

Manage the product cycle and purchasing operations, starting from identifying market needs and selecting and negotiating with suppliers, to ensuring the availability of the right products with the required quality, cost, and timing-supporting retail and sales objectives.

• Develop product and purchasing plans in coordination with the sales, marketing, and inventory teams.

• Study the market, customers, and competitors to identify suitable products and expansion opportunities.

• Select, evaluate, and monitor suppliers, including their product quality and compliance with delivery schedules.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, supply terms, and contracts.

• Manage the product lifecycle, including selection, pricing, launch, and performance monitoring.

• Monitor inventory levels and demand, and coordinate to reduce shortages or excess.

• Analyze sales, profitability, and product performance, and propose improvement actions.

• Coordinate with relevant departments regarding specifications, quality, warehousing, and shipping.

• Follow up on import and shipping procedures and documentation in coordination with the relevant authorities.

• Prepare periodic reports on purchasing, suppliers, inventory, and product profitability.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in product or purchasing management, preferably in the retail and sales sector.

• Experience in negotiation, supplier management, and analysis of pricing, sales, and inventory.

• Skills in planning, organization, data analysis, and contract management.

• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and inventory management systems.

• Preferably, experience dealing with suppliers and markets in China and Russia, especially in the retail and sales sector.

• Proficiency in English, and knowledge of Chinese or Russian is an added advantage.

• Product availability and inventory depletion rate.

• Product quality and suppliers' compliance with delivery timelines.

• Purchasing savings and achievement of suitable supply terms.

• Product profitability and inventory turnover rates.

• Accuracy of demand forecasts and adherence to purchasing plans.
