Procurement Officer - MEP Background

Manage the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for VIP, luxury hospitality, palace, and high-end construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, quality compliance, and adherence to project specifications. The role plays a key part in supporting project success through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement excellence.

• Source and procure MEP materials, equipment, and services for VIP and luxury construction projects.
• Manage procurement activities for HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and BMS systems.
• Obtain quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and site personnel to ensure timely procurement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers, manufacturers, and specialized vendors.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company procedures.
• Coordinate material approvals, supplier documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure high service levels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project teams in variation orders, value engineering proposals, and material alternatives.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company policies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in construction, MEP, engineering, luxury hospitality, or VIP projects is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of MEP systems and construction materials.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
