Maintenance Technician - Elevators & Escalators

KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is seeking Maintenance Technicians with a service mindset to provide professional service to our customers. The role involves ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, and promoting proactive communication.

• Customer relationship management and satisfaction through quality service and proactive communication.
• Accurate real‑time back reporting of work performed in e-Optimum and Customer Notification.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons, and end‑users.
• Ensure equipment safety and performance.
• Manage the site environment during service operations.
• Identify site risks, communicate them to the supervisor, and take immediate action with escalation procedures.
• Identify and execute unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs, securing approval if not covered by contract.
• Plan and execute service visits and callouts, respecting schedules, quality standards, and time limits.
• Update supervisor with relevant information and raise sales leads.
• Submit time sheets and manage proximity stock.
• Maintain service tooling, van, instruments, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide training/coaching to nominated personnel when required.

• Ensure end‑user and site safety and a safe working environment.
• Follow maintenance and safety instructions.
• Plan workload with the service supervisor.
• Submit time sheets and handle proximity stock tasks.

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic IT and digital foundation skills are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of solid preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a reputed elevator company.
• Valid GCC driving license is an added advantage.
