Associate Technician

Overview

Performs the most basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing activities. Works with mentor to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through direct customer contact.

• Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues or problems in existing systems and processes. Makes minor changes.
• Often uses specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations and less frequently uses broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.
• Application of knowledge is narrow (domestic) and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
• Independently delivers output aligned with specific operational targets and, at times, with significant impact within the job area.
• Individual contributor with no direct responsibility for leading others.

• 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 Years suggested minimum experience.
• Associates Degree

• Evaluated in context of the standard size. Often delivers own output according to specific operational targets and occasionally delivers own output within broad operational targets with significant impact with the job area.
