Technician, Facility - Cooling

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems of Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Window and Split type air‑conditioning units, Water Coolers, Cool rooms, Blast Chillers, Walk‑in Freezers, etc.
• Closely monitor serviceability of the equipment/system to ensure smooth 24‑hour operations, and report status to Senior Supervisor.
• Attend technical meeting structure and other meetings that open lines of communication pertaining to work and systems currently enforced and follow on topics/agenda being discussed.
• Respond to high priority jobs particularly on very critical equipment or system and assist other HF‑T sections as and when required.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for cold rooms, freezer trucks, air curtains, and exhaust fans.
• Responsible for installation and modification of all cold room units, split type, fan coils, package and ducted split a/c.
• Perform balancing of air conditioning system/sub‑systems, cold air ducts/dampers and controls.
• Perform instrumentation and repair on refrigeration, air conditioning, plant and associated facilities.
• Ensure all cold rooms are in working condition as per hygiene standards.
• Diagnose faults on refrigeration system, repair/rectify trouble.
• Receive and collect work orders and perform work to the required high standard quality of workmanship.
• Assist the Supervisor in planning and scheduling of work orders.
• Assist technician in implementing familiarization/apprenticeship/craft skill training for Saudi Nationals and newly recruited or hired staff.
• Ensure proper utilization of tools and workshop equipment and electrical load testing while working in workshop or any working areas, particularly on electrical control boards.
• Observe and encourage cost consciousness in the workshop and working areas by cross‑utilization of still usable parts and materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and tidiness of workshop and working area by proper disposal of scrapped materials.
• Maintain high standard of cleaning and sanitation in the workshops as well as in the working areas by proper disposal of debris and scrapped mechanical or electrical parts.
• Submit daily report concerning daily achievement.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law, and adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Deal with data and information according to their level of classification.
• Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
• Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
• Adhere to the acceptable use policy and use CATRION information and technical assets only for business purposes.
• Obtain the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in CATRION before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
• Report Cybersecurity incidents.

• Ability to read, write and speak English is a must;
  Arabic language is desirable.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, review and interpret vehicle's mechanical designs and diagrams, technical documents; can prepare and present technical records and reports.
