Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning strategies and operational plans to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all facilities.
- Manage and lead a diverse team of cleaning staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective training, motivation, and performance management.
- Oversee budget management for the cleaning department, including procurement of supplies, equipment, and negotiation with vendors to optimize costs.
- Establish and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in cleaning management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large cleaning teams and complex operational budgets.
- Expertise in health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to cleaning services (e.g., COSHH, OSHA).
