Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead the efficient operation, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of our facilities.

Reporting to the VP of Shared Services, the Facility Manager will oversee facility operations and lead the managers responsible for maintenance, hospitality and cleaning, asset management, safety, and security. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities remain safe, reliable, cost-effective, and fully aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for an experienced facility management professional with strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, and proven expertise in managing building operations, maintenance programs, budgets, vendors, assets, and workplace safety.

• Develop and implement the facility management strategy and operational plans.
• Prepare and manage the facility budget in line with business priorities.
• Monitor expenditure, control budget variance, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop long‑term facility plans and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure facility resources are allocated effectively to support business requirements.

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all facilities, systems, and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate the management of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
• Ensure maintenance requests are completed within agreed service levels.
• Minimize equipment downtime and maintain the availability of critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with operational, maintenance, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the performance of internal teams, vendors, and external maintenance providers.

• Oversee cleaning, hospitality, and workplace‑support services.
• Ensure facilities provide a clean, safe, healthy, and professional environment.
• Develop and monitor cleaning schedules, procedures, and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace‑quality requirements.

• Oversee the development and implementation of the facility asset management plan.
• Ensure that all facility assets are properly recorded, maintained, and accounted for.
• Monitor asset condition, utilization, maintenance requirements, and life cycles.
• Develop strategies to extend asset life and optimize associated costs.
• Conduct regular asset audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

• Develop and implement facility safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and applicable industry regulations.
• Coordinate regular inspections, audits, emergency drills, and corrective actions.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of CCTV, access‑control, and other security systems.
• Monitor incidents and implement measures to reduce workplace risks.
• Promote a strong culture of safety across the organization.

• Manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, maintenance companies, and real estate providers.
• Review supplier performance and ensure contractual and service‑level commitments are met.
• Coordinate with Human Resources, IT Operations, Shared Services, and other internal stakeholders.
• Support contract reviews, service evaluations, and supplier‑performance improvements.
• Maintain effective communication with relevant external authorities and service providers.

• Lead and provide direction to facility management teams and sub‑function managers.
• Establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations, and operational priorities.
• Prepare accurate and timely facility reports, budgets, performance updates, and management presentations.
• Monitor facility KPIs and identify opportunities to enhance reliability, cost efficiency, and service quality.
