Job Summary:

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day facility operations, maintenance activities, and support services to ensure a safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained healthcare environment.

The role oversees medical and non-medical maintenance activities, facility management systems (FMS), asset management, housekeeping, electrical services, transportation, drivers, and staff housing arrangements, ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare standards, safety regulations, and accreditation requirements, including CBAHI and JCI.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Management & Operations:

Supervise daily facility operations and ensure the proper functioning of all facility services.
Monitor the implementation of facility management procedures and operational standards.
Ensure compliance with healthcare facility requirements, safety regulations, and accreditation standards (CBAHI and JCI).
Coordinate with relevant departments to address facility-related issues and operational requirements.
Prepare periodic operational reports and elevate major issues to the COO.

Facility Management System (FMS):

Monitor and maintain the Facility Management System (FMS) to ensure accurate recording of maintenance requests and activities.
Follow up on work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance records and facility-related assets.
Monitor maintenance performance indicators and prepare periodic reports.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

Medical Equipment Maintenance Coordination:

Supervise and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance activities for medical equipment.
Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering teams and authorized external service providers for equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
Ensure maintenance activities are documented and completed according to manufacturer recommendations and applicable regulatory requirements.
Follow up on equipment maintenance schedules and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
Monitor the availability of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

Non-Medical Maintenance:

Supervise routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and reported faults.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when required.
Monitor the quality and safety of all maintenance activities.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment, and related supplies.

Housekeeping & Cleaning Services:

Supervise cleaning staff and monitor housekeeping activities across all facility areas.
Ensure compliance with approved cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) regarding cleaning and disinfection requirements.
Monitor cleaning performance and address deficiencies promptly.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning materials and equipment.

Electrical Services:

Supervise electrical maintenance activities and ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems.
Follow up on electrical inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and applicable regulations.
Coordinate with qualified technicians and external contractors for specialized electrical work.

Asset Management:

Maintain and update the facility asset inventory.
Monitor asset allocation, condition, utilization, and maintenance history.
Follow up on asset lifecycle management, including installation, maintenance, replacement, and disposal.
Coordinate with relevant departments regarding medical and non-medical equipment inventories.
Ensure proper asset documentation and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

Employee Housing & Accommodation:

Coordinate employee housing arrangements and accommodation requirements.
Follow up on housing maintenance, utilities, and related services.
Monitor housing allocations, occupancy records, and property conditions.
Coordinate employee move-in and move-out arrangements.
Address housing-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Transportation & Drivers:

Supervise drivers and coordinate daily…
