Position Title:Grant & Compliance Manager

Position Overview:The Grant & Compliance Manager oversees compliance monitoring, financial accounting, budgeting, and subgrant management, ensuring adherence to internal policies and donor regulations. Reporting to the Country Finance Manager, this role involves developing monitoring tools, conducting regular analyses, and ensuring proper documentation and audits.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement compliance monitoring tools and ensure timely dissemination to stakeholders.
- Coordinate staff training on donor compliance and internal policies.
- Maintain systematic grant files and ensure accessibility and completeness.
- Lead donor audits and coordinate field visits for compliance assurance.
- Provide financial analysis reports and support budget development and review.
- Manage subgrantee relationships, assessments, and monitoring visits.
- Develop team capacity and promote a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Represent Mercy Corps in external interactions and uphold high ethical standards.
- Ensure security procedures are followed and promote organizational learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex program management, including subawards.
- Strong knowledge of donor regulations and grants management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
