Senior Environmental & Sustainability Manager

JASARA PMC is in search of a Senior Environmental & Sustainability Manager to lead and enhance our sustainability initiatives within our construction and development projects. This pivotal leadership role will focus on crafting and implementing sustainability strategies that align with our organizational goals while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in sustainability practices, environmental management, and project leadership.

• Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive sustainability programs and initiatives across projects.
• Conduct thorough assessments of environmental impact and develop mitigation plans to address identified risks.
• Manage compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, ensuring all projects meet or exceed these requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance sustainability efforts and advocate for environmentally responsible practices.
• Lead training and capacity-building initiatives to promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.
• Prepare detailed reports on sustainability performance and share insights with senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, government regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to environmental sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, BREEAM), and best practices in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in environmental assessments and reporting.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and motivating teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and public presentations.
• Proven track record in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Relevant professional certifications related to sustainability and environmental management are highly desirable.
