We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our dynamic team at an established automotive dealership and distributor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all services are performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Workshop Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance and training while also maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be tasked with monitoring workflow, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting complex vehicle issues, implementing best practices, and optimizing workshop processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians and mechanics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of workshop staff, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that necessary tools, parts, and supplies are available to support workshop activities.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the service advisor team to schedule appointments and manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Assist in diagnosing complex vehicle issues, providing technical support to staff as needed.
  • Prepare reports on workshop performance, including productivity metrics and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technologies to ensure the workshop remains competitive.
  • Preferred Candidate
  • Proven experience as a workshop supervisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with customers and team members alike.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in using workshop management software and diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to automotive workshops.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Relevant certifications or training in automotive technology or management is a plus.
