Job Summary

In this pivotal role, you will manage set and deliver strategy prior to the prep and post-contract commercial activities associated with high-profile projects within Qiddiya. Your expertise in strategic contract management will ensure compliance, enhance project delivery, and maximize value for our stakeholders. You will work closely with various project teams to oversee performance, risk management, and compliance with contractual obligations.

As a senior leader in this position, you will be responsible for managing disputes, negotiating changes to contracts, and advising on contractual risks and opportunities. Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders will be crucial for success.

Significant experience commercially leading major construction or engineering projects and / or programs is essential for this role. Experience in bidding major projects, running a small P and L, business planning, are advantageous.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the strategic pre- and post-contract management process of high value complex head contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Manage all interactions with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assess and advise on contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Negotiate contract variations and manage change control processes.
  • Develop and implement post-contract management policies and procedures to enhance project delivery.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Manage dispute resolution and claims processes effectively.
  • Provide leadership to the commercial team in executing post-contract strategies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12 plus years of experience in contract management within the construction or engineering sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Must hold MRICS / FRICS accreditation.
  • Proven experience in commercial management post-contract, ideally within large-scale projects.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
