Risk General Manager

Overview

This role develops the risk management strategy, policies, and procedures, including risk classification standards and control measures; exercising ongoing oversight; and providing inputs and observations to ensure alignment and integration with the risk management framework  addition, ensuring that risk treatment steps are properly followed and implemented in a timely manner by Tanmiah employees.

• Develop and implement the risk management strategy to ensure the identification, assessment, management, and monitoring of risks related to Tanmiah’s operations.
• Identify and classify risks based on impact severity and likelihood of occurrence to ensure proper management and mitigation in the event they materialize.
• Develop the risk management strategy, policies, and procedures, and develop and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) for risk management.
• Review risk identification, assessment, and management plans, ensuring that a responsible owner and completion timeline are defined for each.
• Update and enhance the risk register model related to risk categories (strategic, regulatory, financial, and operational) relevant to Tanmiah, ensuring risks and appropriate mitigation actions are properly documented.
• Oversee the preparation of periodic reports and performance reports on the effectiveness of risk management across Tanmiah, as well as other required reports.
• Provide advice, support, and guidance to Tanmiah departments regarding the risk management process to facilitate risk identification, assessment, and prioritization.
• Raise awareness and deliver workshops and training programs for Tanmiah employees to promote a risk management culture.
• Coordinate with audit and review departments and the Risk Committee to ensure the adoption of a sound risk management approach.
• Coordinate with department managers at Tanmiah to monitor and follow up on compliance with risk mitigation plans and ensure proper risk reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and the quality of their implementation to identify, assess, and monitor risk events.
• Identify, assess, and manage various operational risks during the execution of development projects involving multiple stakeholders, such as contractors, and establish preventive measures to manage such risks.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Strategic Planning or a related or equivalent major.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in risk management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in both Arabic and English.

• Full-time (Sunday to Thursday).
• Working hours:
  
  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Office-based at Tanmiah’s headquarters in Riyadh.
