JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
To lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic retail banking programs and cross-divisional initiatives. The role acts as the strategic execution engine for Consumer Banking, ensuring that key priorities are translated into structured programs with clear accountability, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and manage the Consumer Banking strategic initiatives portfolio aligned with the bank's retail strategy and Vision 2030 priorities.
- Develop programs charters, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks for major cross-functional initiatives.
- Track and report on initiative progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain a robust PMO function for retail banking programs.
- Ensure all initiatives follow governance standards, with clear ownership, KPIs, and escalation paths.
- Identify inter-dependencies between programs and manage conflicts or priorities.
- Coordinate with all Consumer Banking units, IT, Finance, HR, and Risk to ensure aligned and integrated delivery.
- Prepare and present strategic initiative updates to the Consumer Banking leadership and Board committees.
- Lead and develop the strategic initiatives team, building strong programs management capability.
- Foster a culture of execution discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepares departmental reports of Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Represents the function and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

Academic
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. MBA or PMP/Prince2 certification strongly preferred.
- 10+ years in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior strategic planning, PMO, or programs management leadership role.
