We are seeking a seasoned Fund Accounting Manager to oversee day‑to‑day administration services, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality deliverables that meet client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.
Responsibilities- Oversee valuations for specified clients and ensure all relevant checks to the funds’ NAVs, including benchmarks and reasonability reports, are completed.
- Maintain managerial oversight of all operations conducted by the Fund Group.
- Act as the escalation point for technical issues encountered in daily business, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Ensure staff are sufficiently trained and available to service clients and deliver quality service.
- Monitor errors, breach potential losses and complete loss‑breach documentation, ensuring remediation actions and training are implemented.
- Attend service calls as required and plan confirmed projects accordingly.
- Act as the primary liaison for all Fund Accounting activities, continually reviewing the operating environment and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers to understand current and future state gaps, business impacts, and to support project initiatives.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert during client visits or projects requiring technical knowledge of the process.
- Log and resolve enquiries, escalating queries within agreed timescales.
- Manage a team of staff, providing training, coaching and development aligned with their career paths.
- Lead projects, perform team and department level analysis of processes, and run initiatives related to all aspects of the business at the departmental level.
Location:
Riyadh, KSA (may include other Middle East domicile funds).
Skills & Qualifications
- Primary degree or a professional/accounting qualification (or equivalent).
- Four or more years of experience in fund administration services or a related area of the financial services industry.
- Proven experience managing a team in a financial services environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and report‑writing abilities.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written); ability to translate and review statements for operational needs.
- Confidence in dealing with all situations, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Talent development, self‑motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility.
- Leadership and motivating skills, trustworthiness and self‑reliance.
