Weare seeking an experienced and results-driven Risk Manager tolead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities for our roadand infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements- Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- 20+years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects such asbridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
- Proven experience in project risk management across planning, design, and construction phases.
- Excellentcommand of English (written and spoken);
Arabic proficiency is a plus. - Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., risk registers, risk matrices, qualitative and quantitative analysis).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for roads and bridges project, identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate risk management processes into the project lifecycle, ensuring that all team members areaware of potential risks.
- Monitor and report on risk exposure throughout the project phases, utilizing risk management software and tools to track progress and effectiveness of mitigation measures.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of road and bridge construction project, aligning them with industry best practices.
- Facilitaterisk workshops and training sessions for project teams, enhancing their understanding of risk management principles and promoting a proactive riskculture.
- Analyze project data and historical performance metrics to identify trends andinform future risk management strategies, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay updated on compliance requirements and emerging risks in the construction sector.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into risk exposure and recommending strategies for risk reduction.
- Leadcross-functional teams in developing contingency plans and response strategies for identified risks, ensuring that the organization is prepared for potential challenges.
