Our client is seeking a strategic leader to drive the growth and profitability of our Marine and Specialty insurance lines. The successful candidate will develop and implement business strategies, lead a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of underwriters
• Oversee underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls
• Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree or certifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) are desirable
• 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on Marine and Specialty lines
• Expertise in underwriting, pricing, and reinsurance for Marine and Specialty risks
• Strong knowledge of operational risk, regulatory compliance, and internal controls
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
