Area Manager, Management Operations Management

The Area Manager role at Wooden Coffee is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Area Manager oversees multiple coffee shop locations, ensuring consistent operating standards, product quality, and an excellent guest experience.

Daily responsibilities include supervising store managers, monitoring sales performance, managing staffing needs, and supporting training and development across the area. The role also involves implementing company policies, improving inventory management and cost control, and reviewing store reports to identify opportunities for improvement. The Area Manager works with leadership on local marketing initiatives, supports new store openings, and ensures compliance with relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience managing multiple locations in the hospitality sector, preferably in coffee shops, restaurants, or food and beverage.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Good understanding of operations management, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and cost optimization.
• Proven ability to analyze sales and performance data to drive continuous improvement and achieve area targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with store managers, team members, and senior leadership.
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and product quality.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene requirements relevant to the hospitality and retail sectors.
• Willingness to work on-site across multiple locations in Riyadh and adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in basic office software and point-of-sale systems. Experience with reporting tools or retail management systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• At least two years of experience in the food and beverage sector.
