Deputy Director, Facilities Maintenance

Directs the day-to-day activities of the Directorate’s operations. Evaluates current and proposed systems, processes, and procedures. Directs changes as necessary and oversees the design and implementation of new processes. Provides subject matter expertise based on experience in the aviation facilities industry. Leads, mentors, and supervises the work of subordinate managers. Facilitates company goals by participating in strategic planning initiatives and aligning Directorate strategies with internal resources.

Directs the personnel, administrative, and financial functions for the Directorate. Follows guidance provided by OPM-SANG.

• Analyzes designs, develops, coordinates, staffs and publishes plans, policies, programs and other procedural documents in support of MNG Aviation base facilities maintenance.
• Directs the personnel and administrative processes for Facilities Maintenance: times sheets, employee performance assessments, feedback guidance, contract negotiations, and organizational advice.
• Provides continuous processes improvement in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement Directorate and organizational policies and procedures to maximize performance. Ensures adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures. Guarantees contract deliverable requirements (CDRL) are met as stated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Drafts and submits CDRL reports as required by the contract.
• Directs the use of human resources. Oversees recruitment and placement of required staff. Establishes organizational structures. Delegates tasks and accountabilities.
• Develops a solid working relationship with OPM-SANG and MNG Maintenance.
• Able to design and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent FM experience.
• Ten years’ experience working as a manager or military equivalent.
• Responsible for all FM Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
• Experience in airfield management, training development, operations, aviation maintenance and aviation logistics supply chain management.
• Knowledge of policies, principles, and procedures of military staff organization and operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Ability to deal effectively with people in the completion of staff functions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
• Proficient in MS Office Professional software required (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of MNG and OPM-MNG operational procedures concerning job related activities.

• Master’s degree or Equivalent Experience
• Understanding of ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Certified Maintenance Manager or relevant experience.
• Certified Maintenance Planner or relevant experience.
• Experience in airport/airfield management, operations, or maintenance.
• Knowledge of pertinent KSA Labor Law
• Knowledge of MNG and OPM-MNG operational procedures concerning job related activities.
• Proficient in Micro-Soft Project highly desired.
