Position: Senior Risk Manager (M3)
The Project

Manages, and may lead, the implementation and delivery of a range of risk services to support commissions and to provide line management leadership and guidance for others within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence and assigned Hub as required.

You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your Responsibilities

Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
Deliver projects through clear planning, quality systems and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
Lead teams to achieve KPIs, share best practice and unlock potential across Mace.
Lead risk management frameworks, strategies and performance across assigned commissions.
Partner with clients, consultants and contractors to manage risks, mitigations and opportunities.
Deliver workshops, QRA, reporting and assurance aligned to Mace and client requirements.
Mentor teams, integrate PMO/planning disciplines and support.

You’ll Need To Have

Experience of effective risk leadership on complex construction projects.
Experience of setting up effective risk management/assurance frameworks/strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge of risk tools, techniques and software (e.g., Active Risk Manager, riskHive, atrisk, Primavera Risk Analyser).
Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
Good understanding of construction projects, decencies and interfaces within the project lifecycle.
