Sr.Production Engineer ,Transformers | Electric

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting, monitoring, and improving production operations by applying engineering principles to ensure efficient processes, reliable equipment performance, and consistent product quality in line with approved standards.

• Support daily production planning activities to ensure smooth execution of production schedules.
• Monitor production processes on the shop floor to ensure output and quality requirements are met.

• Provide hands‑on engineering support to production and maintenance teams during routine operations and breakdowns.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment, process, and quality issues to minimize downtime and production losses.

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, material usage, and equipment performance.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and engineering modifications under approved change procedures.
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives while maintaining required quality and safety standards.

• Prepare and update operating instructions, work procedures, and equipment documentation as required.
• Ensure production documentation reflects current processes, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, equipment, and production technologies.

• Participate in structured problem‑solving activities, including data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Support the application of manufacturing best practices to improve process stability, quality, and reliability.

• Monitor work‑in‑progress (WIP) and sub‑store materials to support accurate inventory control and material availability.
• Support the implementation and sustainment of 5S practices in coordination with production and safety teams.

• Ensure assigned production activities comply with approved manufacturing procedures and safety requirements.
• Support adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards within the production area.

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job
• To have a vision and a plan for the career path and how to achieve it.

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

• Solve any related problems arise and elevate any complex operational issues.

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

• Coordinate well‑defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high‑quality products/services.
