Role Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate day-to-day shop floor operations. The role focuses on maintaining process discipline, achieving production targets safely and efficiently, and supervising operators across mixing, extrusion, baking, wire drawing, and packaging lines.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily production operations and maintain shift schedules
- Monitor production output against KPIs including downtime and efficiency
- Take corrective actions to improve operational performance
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote and enforce HSE procedures and safe working practices
- Ensure proper utilisation of PPE and adherence to safety standards
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager on manpower and line planning
- Ensure availability of raw materials for uninterrupted production
- Conduct on-the-job training for employees
- Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational objectives
- High school diploma, technical/engineering qualification, or relevant field credential
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
- Experience with in heavy manufacturing or shop floor supervision environments
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong productivity record
- Good command of English, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work overtime and rotational shifts as required
