Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Senior Manager Show Audio oversees the design, programming, coordination, and delivery of show audio systems across Qiddiya City’s location-based entertainment and theme park portfolio. Working closely with creative teams, media vendors, and AV integrators, the role translates the intended audio experience into technically deliverable system designs and programming approaches. The position ensures audio experiences are creatively cohesive, technically robust, and operationally reliable from concept through installation, commissioning, and integration.

The Senior Manager manages audio media vendors and AV integrators while coordinating with construction, ride systems, live shows, facilities, IT, and operations teams to deliver fully integrated guest experiences across attractions, rides, live shows, and park environments. The role also represents audio during design reviews, integration planning, and show readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audio Creative Development & Programming Coordination:
Develop a clear understanding of the intended audio direction for each attraction or experience and oversee its technical realization. Coordinate audio creative development with media vendors including soundscapes, music strategies, voice design, and spatial audio concepts. Oversee implementation of playback logic, spatial mapping, timing, transitions, and synchronization. Manage the content‑to‑speaker matrix and ensure system processing strategies support the intended creative outcomes.

Maintain consistent audio quality and storytelling across all programmed audio experiences.
  • Audio Systems Design Oversight:
Oversee development of show audio systems including spatial audio environments, distributed and zoned audio, ride audio systems, and show playback platforms. Establish audio system design principles, performance criteria, and technical standards across projects. Review loudspeaker layouts, processing strategies, routing, zoning, delay management, spatial processing, redundancy strategies, and synchronization approaches. Coordinate acoustic design considerations including ambient noise, ride mechanical noise, environmental reflections, and guest density impacts to ensure intelligibility and coverage.
  • Vendor Management & Coordination:
Manage audio media vendors and AV integrators through design development, installation, programming, and commissioning. Coordinate vendor scopes, schedules, and deliverables with construction, ride systems, live shows, facilities, IT, and operations teams. Ensure audio systems are coordinated with building architecture, scenic elements, ride hardware, and MEP systems. Review submittals, shop drawings, mock‑ups, and programming deliverables to confirm constructability and integration readiness.
  • System Integration:
Ensure audio systems integrate effectively with AV media systems, show control platforms, ride systems, lighting systems, IT networks, and life‑safety systems. Coordinate timing protocols, triggers, and synchronization strategies to ensure reliable show performance. Serve as the primary point of coordination for audio across creative, technical, and construction work streams.
  • Procurement & Contract Support:
Provide technical input to procurement of show audio and sound system packages. Review audio‑related RFPs, technical specifications, and tender submissions. Support technical bid evaluations, clarifications, value engineering discussions, and contract compliance for audio vendors and integrators.
  • Testing, Commissioning & Handover:
Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning activities, and show readiness reviews. Coordinate system tuning, spatial calibration, intelligibility testing, and performance validation with integrators and show teams. Support system acceptance and operational handover.
  • Operations & Lifecycle:
Ensure audio systems meet reliability standards required for continuous theme park operations. Confirm systems are suitable for Saudi environmental conditions, high guest throughput, and extended operating hours. Ensure systems are reliable and straightforward for park operations and maintenance teams to support. Support development of operational documentation, training programs, and lifecycle maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
  • 10–12 years of experience delivering show audio systems for theme parks, location‑based entertainment, immersive attractions, or large‑scale experiential environments.
  • Experience managing audio vendors and AV integrators through design, installation, commissioning, and integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate audio scopes across construction, ride systems, live show production, and operational teams.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills across creative, technical, and project delivery teams.
