Head of Engineering – Capital Markets Technology

Our client is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing, multi-disciplinary engineering organization supporting digital trading and capital markets platforms. The successful candidate will come from a leading fintech or technology-driven financial institution (e.g., Saham, Awaid, Robinhood or similar) and bring strong experience across mobile, web, backend, and data platforms.

• Define the engineering strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Embed modern engineering practices including CI/CD, Dev Ops, Agile, and automated testing.
• Lead teams across Mobile (Kotlin, Swift), Frontend (Vue.js), Backend (.NET), and Database (Oracle).
• Build a culture of ownership, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Measure success by on-time delivery, system stability, team performance, and the development of a strong engineering leadership bench.

• 10+ years in software engineering.
• 5+ years in senior engineering leadership.
• Proven experience scaling teams in fintech, capital markets, or trading environments.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
