Jr. Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Run the process line and equipment systematically and effectively, achieving production targets by increasing line efficiency and minimizing waste.
• Gather hourly data of process control checks.
• Conduct quality wall meetings.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping.
• Alert on food safety hazards and highlight issues to direct managers.
• Summarize daily material usage and calculate material, seasoning, and oil efficiencies in daily reports.
• Monitor and minimize energy usage (water, electricity, gas).
• Manage process workers at assigned stations and maintain GMP within area.
• Operate, control, and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into final product in accordance with KPIs.
• Make decisions based on best utilization to maximize yield conversion.
• Repair and maintain necessary processing equipment to sustain line efficiency.
• Authority to stop production if out of specification with Laboratory Technician.
• Run the line systematically and efficiently, performing and reporting hourly process control checks.
• Ensure raw materials are available for the production run near the line.
• Hygienically maintain equipment and keep desired work stations in good working condition.
• Ensure line achieves required business efficiency targets.
• Achieve material efficiency target set by the business.
• Highlight day-to-day issues to direct managers.
• Collect and report material wastages, summarise daily usage, and calculate material efficiency.
• Inform Engineering for equipment maintenance or repair through MP2.
• Manage process workers' break times, cleaning during flavor change, time-in and time-out.
• Maintain line or workstation in good condition by conducting patrol checklist.
• Report all health hazards within workplace to direct manager.
• Ensure quality products are produced at all times.
• Communicate daily issues and activities to other shifts.
• Emphasize teamwork and cooperation.
• Support IPS audits and food safety audits.
• Effectively utilize energy such as water, gas, electricity.
• Implement and participate in the continual improvement of the EHS Management System and related standards.
• Ensure proper controls for hazards and risks, achieving EHS targets.

• Minimum of an ITI graduate (industrial training institute graduate). Tertiary background acceptable.
• Minimum 2-year experience in a manufacturing processing environment; waived if tertiary background.
