Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh. Spread across 700,000 square meters, the complex houses alfanar’s facilities. The complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Oversee the production processes of electrical products within a manufacturing facility. Ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality electrical products, meeting safety standards and production targets.

Functional Responsibilities Production Planning and Scheduling
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure a smooth production flow.
  • Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Quality Control
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to set and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Team Management
  • Lead and supervise production teams, including operators, technicians and support staff.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Resource Management
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment and materials.
  • Monitor and control production costs to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Implement strategies for resource conservation and waste reduction.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for production staff.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to implement technological advancements.
Communication and Coordination
  • Facilitate communication between different departments, such as engineering, procurement and quality assurance.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, challenges and opportunities.
  • Address and resolve issues that may impact production timelines.
Cost Control and Budgeting
  • Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
  • Analyze production costs and implement strategies for cost reduction.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the electrical products manufacturing industry.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Work with regulatory bodies for certifications and approvals.
General Responsibilities HR Proficiency
  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
