Job Purpose
The Basic Job of process operator is to run the Process line and equipment systematically and effectively. Achieving the production targets by increasing the line efficiency and minimizing the process waste.
Responsibilities- Gather hourly data of process control checks.
- Conduct quality wall meetings.
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping.
- Alert on food safety hazards and highlight issues to Direct Managers.
- Summarize daily material usage and calculate basic material efficiency, seasoning efficiency, and oil efficiency.
- Monitor and minimize energy usage such as water, electricity and gas.
- Manage the process workers working on assigned stations and maintain GMP at all times within the area.
- Operate, control and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into final product in accordance with KPIs.
- Make decisions based on best utilisation to achieve maximum output in terms of yield conversion.
- Repair and maintain necessary processing equipment to maintain line efficiency.
- Have authority to stop the production process in consultation with the Laboratory Technician if production is out of specification.
- Run the line systematically and efficiently, perform and report hourly process control checks.
- Conduct & schedule quality wall meetings at required intervals.
- Ensure raw materials are available for production run near the line.
- Ensure equipment is hygienically maintained and in good working condition.
- Achieve required efficiency set by business and material efficiency targets.
- Highlight day‑to‑day issues to Direct Managers.
- Collect and report material wastages and summarize usage daily.
- Inform Engineering for equipment maintenance or repair through MP2.
- Manage process workers under the line, address break times, cleaning during flavor change, time in and time out.
- Maintain line or workstation in good condition by conducting running patrol checklist.
- Report all health hazards within the workplace to direct manager.
- Ensure quality products are produced at all times.
- At least Industrial Training Institute graduate (ITI).
- Basic communication skills.
- Good working attitude.
- Able to handle and operate process equipment independently.
- Minimum of two years working experience in a manufacturing processing environment (waived in lieu of tertiary background).
