Basic Function – Process the jumbo rolls from the machine to the required sizes as mentioned in the job order given by PM operator, ensuring no quality defects out of the winder.
Responsibilities- Follow the operations of the winder and run with maximum output.
- Observe the roll condition and inform the dry end operator shift leader for any defects.
- Responsible for controlling physical defects such as crease, trim, overflow, and piping; ensuring correct size, reel diameter as per JOS, good Intel hardness of reel as per QC standard, and looking after any defect due to winder operations.
- Insert core and tap reel.
- Coordinate with maintenance for any issue related to winder operations.
- Run winder at design speed.
- Produce winder rolls as per SAP generated roll card.
- High School or industrial school degree with 3–5 years experience in tissue mills.
- Good knowledge of English (Basic level) is required.
