Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor folder gluer machines ensuring precise folding and gluing for high-quality packaging production
- Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on folder gluer machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and pneumatic issues on folder gluers minimizing downtime
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products identifying and rectifying any defects in folding or gluing
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining folder gluer machines.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on packaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of different paperboard types, adhesives, and their interaction with machinery.
