Welder Vacancy in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have minimal experience in welding and will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and operating welding equipment. The role requires the ability to read blueprints and assemble parts for welding operations.
Job Description- Read blueprints and instructions to determine the specific welding requirements
- Set up welding machines according to the specifications of projects
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to determine the quality of work
- Make sure that all safety precautions are followed while performing welding tasks
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers of metal
- Select a suitable filler material according to the type of metal being joined
- Assemble components before welding them together using clamps & fixtures
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure that they are producing quality welds
- Ensure that all machinery is well-maintained at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required. Technical certification or license from an accredited organization preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder in a metal fabrication environment
- Familiarity with safety standards & procedures related to working with metals
- Knowledge of metals & their properties for different types of welds
- Ability to understand technical plans & drawings
- Good eye-hand coordination & manual dexterity along with good posture & balance when working with heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
