Prepare daily weekly monthly and seasonal production plans based on sales forecasts project programs and the growth cycle of each species
Determine requirements for seeds cuttings mother plants containers growing media fertilizers pesticides labor and space before each cycle begins
Maintain records of species batches ages sizes quantities locations health status movements and project reservations
Coordinate confirmed orders delivery dates and acceptable alternatives with Sales and Projects while preventing conflicting or duplicate inventory allocations
Supervise propagation by seed cuttings division and other suitable methods as well as pricking out repotting pruning staking spacing and sale preparation
Set irrigation and fertigation programs by species age season water quality and growing medium and monitor moisture salinity and drainage
Monitor growth vigor uniformity form rooting and success rates and implement timely corrective action
Manage shade acclimatization and hardening programs before dispatch so plants can withstand transport and landscape-site conditions
Implement integrated pest and disease management covering monitoring diagnosis isolation treatment documentation and safe use of materials
Analyze the root causes of mortality waste and weak growth and implement preventive and corrective actions
Inspect plants before dispatch against species size container root and canopy quality and freedom from pests or defects document acceptance or rejection
Maintain sanitation of production areas tools and propagation sources and apply quarantine and isolation practices when infection is suspected
Allocate tasks to workers and supervisors monitor productivity and quality and train teams in safe work and responsible use of materials and water
Monitor irrigation networks pumps fertigation units shade areas and storage facilities and raise maintenance needs before production is affected
Prepare loading sorting tagging packing and transport orders and coordinate with project sites to reduce waiting time and plant stress
Issue production inventory mortality consumption and delivery reports and recommend improvements that raise survival and productivity and reduce waste
Experience in ornamental plant production or nursery operations
Experience in the Gulf or hot, arid climates
Practical knowledge of propagation, fertigation, irrigation, water quality, growing media, and pest and disease management
Ability to identify landscape plant species and understand their growth requirements, commercial sizes, and delivery specifications
Proficiency in records and reporting using Excel or an appropriate inventory and production system
Agricultural planning that links crop cycles to project and sales demand
Observation, diagnosis, and decisions based on plant condition and operating data Workforce leadership, resource allocation, and productivity measurement with a strong field presence
Inventory, batch traceability, and dispatch quality control
Efficient use of water, fertilizers, and materials with reduced environmental impact and waste
Working Relationships Internal :
Sales, Projects, Site Engineers, Procurement, Warehousing, Transport, and Maintenance.
External:
Plant and propagation-material suppliers, fertilizer and pesticide suppliers, laboratories, and relevant technical bodies
