- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of generator sets and related power equipment.
- Install engines, alternators, radiators, exhaust systems, fuel systems, batteries, control panels, wiring, and other components.
- Assemble components according to engineering drawings, electrical schematics, work instructions, and specifications
. - Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and other workshop equipment safely and correctly.
- Perform cable routing, wiring, connections, and installation of electrical components as required.
- Ensure proper alignment, fastening, torque, and installation of components.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure assembly meets required quality standards.
- Identify and report defective components, missing parts, or assembly issues.
- Support testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company quality, safety, and production procedures
. - Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth production activities.
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Technology
, or a related field. - 2–4 years of relevant experience in assembly, manufacturing, power generation, industrial equipment, or a similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly
. - Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
. - Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment.
- Experience in generator manufacturing, diesel engines, alternators, switch gear, industrial machinery, or power solutions is an advantage.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
