To coordinate with limestone suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that limestone products are produced according to approved specifications quality standards drawings and project requirements and are delivered to the site on time The role will involve regular supplier visits production monitoring quality inspection documentation and coordination between suppliers production teams logistics and site teams
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain regular communication with suppliers regarding orders, production schedules and delivery requirements.
Coordinate material availability, production capacity and delivery timelines.
Follow up on pending orders and resolve supplier-related issues.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with quarry owners, fabricators and suppliers.
Verify that production is being carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and samples.
Monitor cutting, fabrication, finishing, polishing, edge treatment and other required processes.
Track production progress against project schedules.
Identify production delays, quality issues or technical deviations at an early stage.
Check colour, texture, veining, dimensions, thickness, finish and workmanship.
Ensure materials comply with approved samples and project specifications.
Conduct pre-production, in-process and final inspections.
Identify rejected or defective materials and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.
Maintain inspection reports and photographic records.
Verify quantities and items before dispatch.
Ensure materials are properly packed, protected and labelled for transportation.
Coordinate delivery schedules with the project/site team.
Track shipments until materials reach the site.
Address shortages, damages or discrepancies during delivery.
Support site teams in identifying material-related issues.
Verify delivered materials against approved specifications and delivery documents.
Coordinate replacement or rectification of damaged, defective or incorrect materials.
Maintain records of material approvals, inspections, deliveries and rejections.
Maintain supplier-wise production and delivery trackers.
Maintain inspection reports, delivery notes, photographs and quality records.
Report delays, quality concerns and deviations to management.
Provide regular updates on order status and expected delivery dates.
